Community Outreach
Through local partnerships, the Modesto Symphony Orchestra has been able to assist several local schools with the development of their music programs. One highly successful program has been the Symphony’s Call for Instruments, in which members of the community donate used instruments to school orchestra classes. This program has enabled many area youths, for whose families the purchase or rental of an instrument would be a financial burden, the opportunity to study music.
